![]() At the three Linn Lounges I have been to I have not heard one "click" from the system. The only Exakt systems I have heard have been at dealers. If vinyl is so bad I wouldn't have thought some people would still be investing in theirs. Very little by way of clicks on my vinyl at least when I change album it will go away. Nothing is perfect but at that price and hype I wouldn't expect clicking all the time. Mind you there is more annoying clicking on Vinyl. I thought all that streaming through EXAKT was to eliminate that annoying "clicking"Įxakt? That is loads of money. Glad I don't stream it seems to be more trouble than it's worth for " convenience " IMO I suspect this requires changing.Ĭoyote Jim wrote:Must still be waiting for the public to finish development "again" ![]() There is an option in Twonky for the resolution of artwork and the type of device it is being sent to. Would Kazoo show the artwork in the appropriate view? Similarly Twonky shows the artwork in Artist/Album view but minimserver does not in Artist view. I have no idea if the Kazoo server would improve the situation over Twonky, but I can’t try it because of 1. Minimserver shows the artwork in good quality. Do you have any idea when using Twonky the art work (in the Expanded view) is so poor. I shall pass your feedback to our software engineers for their considerationħ. In the “What’s Playing” bar at the top information showing the bit and sampling rate are only available after left clicking, where it was shown in Kinsky. I shall pass your feedback to our software engineers for their consideration.Ħ. The feature to show time remaining instead of time elapsed has been removed from Kazoo but was available in Kinsky. Kazoo is designed as a more Dynamic playlist and therefore the playlist is designed to have tracks added and not be shown all the time, therefore track numbers are deemed not necessary.ĥ. The tracks in the Playlist are numbered in Kinsky but not in Kazoo. The playlist re-ordering facility is not yet available in KazooĤ. The function to Move Up and Move Down tracks in the Playlist seems to have been removed for Kazoo (but was available in Kinsky) It is not possible to save playlists in Kazoo at the moment.ģ. The Saved Playlist seems to be a function of Kinsky, but left out of Kazoo. I can’t see any way to save a Playlist other than having to go back to Kinsky and save it. We have no current plans to make Kazoo server available for other NAS drivesĢ. Will Kazoo Server ever be implemented for non Intel based QNAP NAS’s? So does anyone know what the Linn answer refers to?ġ. Now I know with Kinsky we were told to change the Media Receivers to Linn Kinsky Desktop Control Point to help with the artwork display but as I am not using Kinsky but Kazoo this has no effect. I emailed Linn with a few questions and got the following replies: Or Twonky which gives me good thumbnails in Artist/Album view but fuzzy in the expanded playlist view. ![]() Hence I have to use minimserver which gives me no artwork in Artist view but perfect in the expanded view from the playlist. Now I have been trying Kazoo but as my NAS is not Intel based I cannot use Kazoo Server. With TWONKY under Album/Artist the artwork for the album or the first album under that artist is shown but when you click on the thumbnail when playing the full size is fuzzy. The problem with minimserver is that no artwork is shown unless you have selected an individual album. I changed to using minimserver because under Artist the album artwork is of a good definition when playing. I wonder if anybody can solve the old problem with TWONKY and Artwork.
